'SLEEPWALK' RE-MIX SHOW IN WSA
LINXIN XIONG/XIAORUI GUO/RUITING MAO/JINGHUI CHEN
The sleepwalk remix mini show is a collection of four artists' reworkings of the poem sleepwalk, in video, digital and published form.
In order to combine the work of all four of us, the main form of presentation is an exhibition, where sleepwalk is used as a soundtrack, allowing the viewer to quickly get into a specific atmosphere. The digital display of the content, the projection technology and the use of physical readings make for a truly immersive viewing experience. What we want to convey is the use of visualisation to convey and perceive information.

BACKGROUND
This show is based on John Cooper Clarke's performance poem "Sleepwalk".The poem was from the album "Snap, Crackle & Bop", released in 1980. It was written by John Cooper Clarke, a performance poet from England. In "Snap, Crackle & Bop", Clarke describes the social problems during the Thatcherism.
